Meet Zeke!

This sophisticated, hard-working feller is ready to make his adoption debut! Zeke has been lucky enough to spend his time in a foster home while we worked to get his allergies under control. After being with us since March, he's more than ready to find his forever home!

Here's what his foster had to say:

Zeke is a very smart, sweet, and affectionate boy who loves to play! He has lots of energy when it comes to his toys and will happily request a game of fetch – especially when spring toys are involved.

He has the sweetest morning routine, gently waking his foster with a soft, high-pitched meow and a little poke to the face with his front paw. He's an incredibly gentle boy and is very aware of his strength, even when it comes to nail trims. Yes, he will happily let his foster trim his nails while reclining on his back in a gentle but firm embrace!

Zeke gets along well with his foster's 9-lb bunny, Doc, and is also kennel trained in a medium-sized wire dog crate.

Likes & loves: spring toys, strings and laces, bouncy balls, bird watching, and plenty of gentle pats and scratches for reassurance. He especially enjoys lounging in a bed by the window and watching the birds go by.

Zeke can get stressed easily and is currently on an Anallergenic prescription diet for allergies, which can be purchased through your veterinarian. Because he is a stress-prone kitty, Zeke will need to be an indoor-only cat where he can feel safe, settled, and comfortable.

This handsome gentleman has so much love and personality to give – now he just needs a forever home to share it with!

If you are interested in meeting Zeke, please fill out the adoption application at the link below: https://www.novascotiaspca.ca/cat-adoption-application/

Staff from the Dartmouth SPCA will be in touch to set up a meeting at their foster home.
