Finnigan is a handsome 2-year-old boy who's discovering just how wonderful indoor life can be. Having spent his early life as an outdoor tomcat, everything from cozy beds to regular meals and human affection is still a fairly new experience for him.
This sweet boy has come a long way and enjoys spending time with people, but he's still learning that hands aren't toys. Like many cats who haven't had much experience with indoor play, Finnigan can sometimes use his teeth or claws when he gets excited. With patience, consistency, and plenty of appropriate toys, he's making great progress and has all the potential to become a wonderful companion.
Finnigan is FIV-positive, but that doesn't stop him from living a happy, healthy life. Because of his FIV status, he is looking for an indoor-only home where he can stay safe and healthy. He would also do best as the only pet in the home, allowing him to receive all the love and attention while continuing to build his confidence and indoor manners.
