Meet Vileda.

One look at Vileda and you'll know she is one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. This beautiful girl came from a hoarding situation, and it's suspected that she spent much of her life having litter after litter of kittens. Now, she's ready for something completely different-a quiet life where she can enjoy peaceful naps, good meals, and a safe place to call home.

Because of her difficult past, Vileda is extremely shy. She may never be the kind of cat who seeks out attention or wants to be involved in everything her people are doing, but we believe there is still so much more to discover about this special girl. Given time, patience, and a safe environment, her confidence may continue to grow.

During the day, Vileda prefers to curl up in a quiet, hidden spot where she can feel safe. But when the world gets quiet at night and she has the place to herself, a different side of Vileda comes out! She loves playing with toys, climbing, and scratching cardboard.

Deep down, there's a brave girl just waiting for the opportunity to come out.

Vileda may never be a "normal" cat-and that's okay. She doesn't need to change who she is. She simply needs a patient, understanding person who will love her on her terms and give her the time she needs to build confidence.

Vileda is looking for an indoor-only home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved for the unique girl she is. After everything she's been through, she deserves a quiet, peaceful life filled with comfort, patience, and love.
